I have been training under Shalu for the last couple of years and the transformation I have undergone has been incredible. Initially my focus was on general weight loss and as I started to see striking results, Shalu was quick to begin strength training and muscle toning.
What set Shalu apart from trainers I had previously worked with was that she had the knowledge and expertise to advise me on my dietary needs to support my ongoing training. Being a vegan was limiting what I could eat in order to compensate for the lack of protein and calcium in my diet (crucial for anyone who is strength training). Shalu did my meal plans not only ensuring I included ingredients from every food group but also going down to the details of micronutrients.
I had suffered two rather serious ankle injuries in quick succession but my training did not stop. Shalu modified workouts keeping in mind how best to work around my injured ankles but also factoring in some workouts that help with recovery. Needless to say the diet plans changed accordingly too. I am incredibly proud of my complete transformation under her expert guidance and I can’t thank Shalu enough for changing my perspective to fitness.

I have been working out with Shalu for over 6 months now. Shalu started off with an assessment session, where she carefully mapped out my fitness level and requirements.
She’s has been amazingly organised and structured with the program she draws up for every week, rather every session. While she is strict as a trainer, with scheduling she has been flexible depending on my workload commitments. Without fail, every session I do warm up and stretches and no 2 sessions are the same. She continually stretches me and my fitness levels have significantly increased as a result.
I know Shalu from my London days and when I learnt Shalu is a Level 3 qualified trainer, I chose to train with her , inspite of being miles apart (currently we live in Dubai). The distance doesn’t matter, as with stable IT infrastructure and using zoom meeting dial in, our sessions are scheduled and completed seamlessly.
I must admit, I have had 2 other Personal trainers before and none of them match up to Shalu in terms of passion for training, bespoke customisation of training session and meticulous planning of the sessions. Hands down - Shals is the best when it comes to PT!

I have been training with Shalu for the past two years now. She has been instrumental in helping me go beyond limits, for challenging me and pushing me just a bit further every time.
Has helped me reduce my back pain via strengthening my core and legs, has taught me to strength train effectively without injury and to balance my workouts concentrating on every muscle group, while being cognisant of my back and knee issues, sending me regular updates on stretching exercises. She’s one of those who understands you and can give you a personified advice on your health catering to your needs.
